“I am frequently blown away by the excellence of instruction available at both Yoga Masala! At other studios I visit, it go to practice with a specific teacher. At Masala, I go simply to a class that meets my schedule, knowing I will be in for a fantastic class no matter who is teaching.” - M.C.

$5 Fundamentals of Vinyasa

Our fundamentals are your basics. The best place to begin. You will learn the names of the poses, the correct body positions (aka alignment) and the breathing necessary to get you started. This class is perfect for those new to yoga, on a budget and wanting to learn in a safe and friendly environment..

Hot Align + Flow

Hot Vinyasa + Deep Stretch

In this class you’ll never fall into the slump that can set in when you repeat the same routine over and over. Instructors are totally free to mix up the order of the poses, or throw in something new and unexpected. Since there are no set-in-stone rules, teachers can incorporate whatever they choose into the class—including different styles of yoga, a great playlist, props whatever they think will help the class feel more successful.

Deep Stretch is what we do. We all know that deep can mean mysterious, like how mysterious is it that you feel inflexible? But did you know that stretch is not only to expand or extend, but also to reach out. In this case you will reach out of your comfort zone and feel the benefits of longer held poses to create that spacious mystery inside your body!

Hot Strength + Vinyasa

Whether you are new to yoga, working on your handstand, or just in need a good butt kicking strength class this is the one for you! In this 1 hour class you will take poses apart to gain strength so you can build them back into a stronger steadier flow. Not your traditional yoga class, but just what the Dr. ordered! All levels welcomed.

Our most basic HOT class designed to teach you the fundamentals of vinyasa yoga.

Hot Basic Vinyasa

In vinyasa yoga the emphasis is on performing poses that are fluid from one to the next.  It is a full body way of moving that targets all major muscle groups. Vinyasa is also the term used to describe a specific sequence of poses (Chaturanga to Upward-Facing Dog to Downward-Facing Dog) commonly used throughout a vinyasa class. This style offers a range of health benefits as it includes all areas of mind, body and spirit.

Hot Vinyasa I

The studio is hot. The poses move a little faster than our basic vinyasa. Vinyasa I requires a fair amount of strength, but once you get the hang of it, the feeling is powerful.

Restore Renew*

This class is all about relaxation, rejuvenation and healing. It is good for students of all experience levels. The focus is on stretching by holding poses with supportive props and turning your attention inward. Our restore renew classes are held in evening with the lights turned down low! When you think of yoga and relaxing this is what you want!

Shelley Jones, mama of two and RYT-500, credits yoga with helping to make her transitions from pregnancy through birth and into motherhood easeful, though not easy. Now she shares the gift of yoga with her sons, while realizing the power of her own personal practice in supporting her as a mother. In addition to her adult classes, including prenatal and postnatal classes and workshops, Shelley loves to teach kids’ yoga.

Wall Yoga

Challenge yourself and take your practice vertical.

Wall yoga practice is method of feeling correct alignment on the wall and this translates to the floor to improve daily asana. Beginners and experienced yogis can benefit from this felt experience. It was first developed by BKS Iyengar, who used it as a prop to support and intensify his asana practice. He called the rope work “yoga kurunta,” which means “yoga puppetry.” Rope poses are exceptional for spine health with their use of traction to alleviate pressure from compressed vertebral discs. They are also very helpful in allowing for a deep opening in the organic body to occur, which nourishes the organs, calms the nerves, and quiets the mind. They are also a whole lot of fun! Take a page out of the bat and the sloth's book, neither of these critters get arthritis which is attributed to the amount of time they spend upside down.

Private Sessions and Parties

We are also available for private sessions and private parties.
