This weekend will focus on the book, The Heart of Yoga, T.K.V.Desikachar. There will be practice teaching, group presentations based on the previous modules presented thus far. The group will also process the book and begin preparations for our group seva project. This weekend is required contact hours for the 300HR AYS program

This workshop is aimed at sharing the origins of Ashtanga Yoga, how it fits into the global yoga tradition, and what makes the Ashtanga method of practice unique. Two sessions: an introduction session 10:30 am to noon and a primary series workshop 1:30 to 3 pm. Both sessions will be led by Katherine Rea.
