~ Beginner ~


$5 Fundamentals of Vinyasa

Fundamentals help you form the core base for a safe and effective yoga practice. This class will support you in creating a strong foundation for your yoga poses or asanas. You will learn the names of the poses, the correct positions to place your body in and the breathing necessary for you to feel all the benefits of yoga. This class is perfect for those new to yoga, on a budget and wanting to learn in a safe and friendly environment.

Vinyasa is our signature style. We call it the “gateway drug” as it’s the style that lures people in and leaves them wanting to know more about all kinds of yoga! You will move thru the class using your breath and the Sun Salutations to link all of your poses into one seamless meditation. At the end you rest feeling successful, energized and ready to face the world with an open mind and a stronger heart for the struggle! 

 
 

Hot Align + Flow to Yin

HOT classes the room is heated to 90 degrees or above. You will sweat, a lot! Please bring your own mat, water bottle and towel.

Align + Flow Align means to give support to and that is exactly what you will do. You give support to your body by aligning your joints, muscles and bones to create the optimal flow of energy. You will challenge your body by building your poses from the ground up. In this class you will align your body for optimal safety. When our bodies are aligned, our minds start to let go and we begin experience the flow of life with greater ease.

Yin yoga targets the deep connective tissues of the body vs. the superficial tissues and the fascia that covers the muscles. Longer held poses help to increase circulation, improve flexibility and reduce stress and anxiety! This yummy class is just what you need to balance you mind and body! All levels welcomed.

Warm Basic Vinyasa

Warm classes allow the body's tissues to soften more deeply, as the room is kept between 80-85 degrees.

Basic It is a great way to learn the basics of yoga and pranayama, or yogic breathing, since the instructor will tell you when to inhale and exhale during each pose. It keeps you moving from pose to pose on your breath with a lot of instruction from our experienced teachers.

Fundamentals is rooted in the basics of how to move safely and intelligently through the poses. Our most basic class designed to teach you the fundamentals of vinyasa yoga. This class is also great for athletes, those recovering from injuries and anyone dealing with overuse injuries. All levels of experience are welcomed.


Hot Vinyasa I

HOT classes the room is heated to 90 degrees or above. You will sweat, a lot! Please bring your own mat, water bottle and towel.

Vinyasa is our signature style. Vinyasa I uses movements between poses and sun salutations accompanied by regulated breathing. In this class you’ll never fall into the slump that can set in when you repeat the same routine over and over. Instructors are totally free to mix up the order of the poses, or throw in something new and unexpected. Since there are no set-in-stone rules, teachers can incorporate whatever they choose into the class—including different styles of yoga, a great playlist, props whatever they think will help the class feel more successful.

Restore Renew*

Had a rough day, rough weekend? Need to slow down and regroup? Want your yoga fix but feeling sluggish and unmotivated? This class is guaranteed to restore your spirits and renew your alignment. It is an hour of restorative poses. You’ll use blocks, straps, blankets and bolsters to support the body. In these propped up poses your body will relax and realign and you might even forget your name! It is a great addition to your regular yoga practice and an awesome cross training tool for any athlete.          *Recommended for beginners

 

Hot Pilates Strength and Stretch

HOT classes the room is heated to 90 degrees or above. You will sweat, a lot! Please bring your own mat, water bottle and towel.

Pilates is the original resistance training designed by a Joseph Pilates in the 1920’s. It is based on recruiting your “powerhouse” a.k.a. core to support and facilitate all of your movement. You’ll work on strengthening your abdominals, glutes and inner thighs to create a strong foundation for any exercise. We call it the “Ultimate Cross Training for Life!”

Strength is what we need to take that next step. Whether you are new to yoga, working on your handstand, or just need a good butt kicking strength class this is the one for you!

Stretch is to extend a part of one's body to its full length, to expand, to cause (someone) to make maximum use of their talents or abilities. That’s what we do, we guide you to feel the fullest possibilities of you!!

 

~ Intermediate/Advanced Classes ~


Power Vinyasa Lunch

Power is what you need to fuel all aspects of your life. Mind, Body, Soul.

Lunch we all know what that is, but how do you spend your lunch hour? Do you chase your tail trying to catch up, do you eat your 1st meal of the day, or do you give yourself a pause from the busy-ness of the day so you can regroup and recharge? Just think about it...

Hot Vinyasa II

HOT classes the room is heated to 90 degrees or above. You will sweat, a lot! Please bring your own mat, water bottle and towel.

Vinyasa is our signature style. Vinyasa II uses movements between poses and sun salutations accompanied by regulated breathing. Instructors are totally free to mix up the order of the poses, or throw in something new and unexpected. Since there are no set-in-stone rules, teachers can incorporate whatever they choose into the class—including different styles of yoga, a great playlist, props whatever they think will help the class feel more successful. You’ll push the limits of your strength, flexibility, and balance. First time students are discouraged from attending these classes, as they tend to be fast-paced, and are meant for those already familiar with basic postures.

 

Savage Sunday

Savage loosely defined is something wild or fierce! Which is exactly what this class is! Wild, fierce and free flowing. Get ready to change your life! Savage Sunday is a serious sun salute based class. Fast paced requiring strength, deep breathing ability and dynamic movement. It is meant to challenge you and your existing practice, to make you sweat, to have some fun, and to try inversions! 

** Not recommended for beginners or for those who do not have a basic knowledge of yoga postures.

The Cure: Crunches for Lunches

HOT classes the room is heated to 90 degrees or above. You will sweat, a lot! Please bring your own mat, water bottle and towel.

Short defined as brief or quick. Savage loosely defined is something wild or fierce! Which is exactly what this class is! Wild, fierce and free flowing. This is our shortened version of Savage Sunday! It’s shorter, it’s faster and its definitely NOT for beginners!

 

~ Specialty Classes ~

Prenatal Yoga 

Join mamas-to-be for a class designed especially for you. Each session will include a flow designed for your body, with time for meditation, breath work, and deep relaxation to support you on the journey to birth and motherhood.  All levels of experience welcome. Postpartum moms making their way back to the mat welcome too.

Shelley Jones, mama of two and RYT-500, credits yoga with helping to make her transitions from pregnancy through birth and into motherhood easeful, though not easy. Now she shares the gift of yoga with her sons, while realizing the power of her own personal practice in supporting her as a mother. In addition to her adult classes, including prenatal and postnatal classes and workshops, Shelley loves to teach kids’ yoga.
